This sale represents a strategic pivot for ESL Shipping, which is now concentrating on smaller Handysize and Coaster vessels. This adjustment is part of the company's broader objective of reaching carbon-neutral operations in the future.

“The sale will support our roadmap towards green shipping and our ambition to bring fossil-free Handysize vessels to the market,” stated Mikki Koskinen, Managing Director of ESL Shipping. “This transaction allows us to allocate more resources towards accelerating the green transition.”
