Named after the three-year-old son of Hans Helmut Schramm, owner of H. Schramm Towage, the tug is designed based on Robert Allan's TRAktor-Z 2500SX model, customized to Sanmar's requirements.

Equipped with two high-speed, electronically controlled CAT 3516C main engines, BO is a TRAktor-Z 2500SX class tractor-type tug with a towing capacity of 75 tons and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. Measuring 25.3 meters in length and 12 meters in width, BO is designed for escort and terminal support duties and has a Fi-Fi 1 firefighting capability.

Built at Sanmar's Altınova Shipyard and named Deliçay XIV, BO also holds the distinction of being the sixth tugboat delivered to H. Schramm Towage by Sanmar.

Ipek Gürün, Corporate Strategy Director of Sanmar Shipyards, emphasized that the Deliçay series has been well-received by operators and highlighted their close collaboration with H. Schramm Towage.

Gürün also added, "The fact that it was Sanmar's operations team that took BO to Germany is an indication that Sanmar supports its customers from design to delivery."
