The ship will sail under its new name, T Balat. The ship was sold by Singapore-based Asiad Enterprise.

In the previous year, Ditas acquired an LR tanker, the 105,000 dwt Fos Athens, built in 2015, for $50 million. The vessel, now named T Kurucesme, has seen its value rise by approximately $5 million if sold in the current market.

This increase in value is reflective of the broader trend in the region, where the fleets of numerous owners have experienced a significant uptick in value since the commencement of the conflict in Ukraine.

The current estimated value of Ditas' fleet stands at $458 million, a notable increase from the $282 million valuation at the same period last year. The company's fleet comprises 16 tankers with an average age of nine years.
