The 2010-built Myrsini has been fixed out to Cobelfret until February 2025, with options extending until March 2025. The new agreement will earn $2,100 more per day than the vessel's current charter rate of $15,000 per day with Salanc, which is set to expire on June 25.

Led by Semiramis Paliou, Diana Shipping, which operates a fleet of 39 bulkers, anticipates earning approximately $3.71 million from the charter's minimum scheduled period. The fleet will see changes with one capesize set to exit and two newbuild methanol dual-fuel kamsarmaxes expected to be delivered in 2027 and 2028.

Earlier this month, Diana Shipping also secured a charter deal with Reachy Shipping for the 2012-built, 98,704 dwt, post-panamax vessel Polymnia, at a daily rate of $17,500 until at least August 2025.
