Turkish Container Line Arkas is adding 6 new eco-design vessels to its fleet with an investment of 360 million dollars. With the ships, each with a capacity of 4300 TEU, the number of ships in the fleet will reach 55 and the TEU capacity will reach 112,230.

As the fleet gets younger and bigger with these eco-friendly ships, Arkas' sustainability strategy will be supported. Arkas Holding Chairman Lucien Arkas, Arkas Holding Vice Chairman Bernard Arkas and Diane Arkas Göçmez, Arkas Shipping Fleet Group Vice President İbrahim Kontaytekin, General Manager Haluk İribaş, Arkas Holding Vice President of Accounting and Financial Planning Cenk Sivrioğlu, Perla Karmona, CIFO of Arkas Holding, Perla Karmona, executives from China Shipbuilding Trading Co and CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard, CIMC Financial Leasing and MB Shipbrokers came together at the signing ceremony organized in Izmir on the occasion of the cooperation.

Following the signing ceremony, the delegation, accompanied by Arkas Holding Chairman Lucien Arkas, visited the Arkas Carpet Collection at Arkas Art Bornova and Arkas Art Urla in Arkas Mattheys Mansion.
